How to Save Money and Energy in Your Coronado Homes

Without a doubt and seemingly unceasingly, bills arrive at your Coronado homes every month.  Did you know that much of your Coronado homes energy bills consist of waste? Here are a few steps to saving money and reducing waste:

* Water Consumption

Approximately 15% of your electric bill is consumed by heating your water.  It may not sound like much now but added up monthly over the year the cost quickly increases. Consider there is a way to still have the hot showers and warm baths you love and still save some money. Try some simple energy saving techniques and you'll save energy and money without having to sacrifice those hot baths and showers.

* Temperature Control

You can have an energy efficient house without having to endure lukewarm baths and showers.  Try reducing the temperature a bit to save energy.  A slight change still translates into money and water saved.

* Add Insulation

Insulate your pipes.  Having insulation installed on the pipes in your home will prevent long waits for hot water to come through your faucet.  You'll also lower your water consumption as you won't be watching the water waste while waiting for it to warm to temperature.
